As we travel in comfort in a luxury black SUV, I will show you the most picturesque spots while we take a historical journey through time in one of the most exciting cities in the world. We will also learn about headline-making events as we pass through all the famous and trendy attractions such as the vibrant Little Havana, sub-tropical jungle Coconut Grove and "The City Beautiful" Coral Gables. We will also stop for a taste of a Cuban bakery along the way. This tour includes transportation from your location anywhere in Miami or Miami Beach. We booked a tour in Miami with Stella, and then took another tour in a different city a couple of days later with a different company, expecting the experiences to be fairly similar. They were not even close.Stella was truly phenomenal, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience with her.From the moment our tour began, Stella made the day feel personal, thoughtful, and genuine. She shared so many interesting facts, but what made everything even more special was how she brought the history to life through her own stories and experiences. She even showed us personal photos that added so much depth to what she was sharing, including worn black and white pictures of herself as a child at the home where she grew up on Millionaire’s Row, the skyline then and now. memories of nightlife with friends, and personal insight about well known people she had encountered throughout her life.By the end of the day, it felt like we had known Stella for years. She made us feel more like old friends than customers. She truly immersed herself in our experience and customized the day around what she knew we would enjoy most. She gave us options, explained each one, and shared why she thought certain stops would be a good fit for our group. It never felt scripted or generic. It felt like a day designed just for us.What stood out even more was how kind and flexible she was when we needed help finding a special part for a sleep apnea machine. She adapted without hesitation and helped us in a way that went far beyond what anyone would normally expect from a tour guide.That level of care became even more obvious when we compared her tour to another one we took shortly after. The other company claimed the tour would be customized, but it felt gimmicky and far less personal. We were mostly taken to places the guide wanted to show us, rather than places our group had actually expressed interest in seeing.Stella made such a lasting impression that even now, almost six months later, I was recently telling friends about our trip and realized how many details and memorable stories from her tour I still remember. Stella was a wonderful guide for what could have been a very tough day. Our group included an autistic teen and pre-teen with vastly different needs. We ended up spending significant time at a McDonald's. Our group's interests were varied; some were curious about history, while others were only interested in the wildlife. Stella handled it all with poise. We spent a second day with her doing an Everglades tour that was also excellent.Stella was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and adaptable; She moved seamlessly between historical storytelling and nature, all while managing the group's sensory needs with grace. We had a 5 hour tour with Stella, starting with Star Island which is not normally accessible by tourists. We went through the design area of Miami and the Wynwood district with mural graffiti art on every building. Quite fascinating. Also did sights on Miami Beach, coconut grove and coral gables. One highlight was the Biltmore hotel, built in the 1920s, now restored and owned by the city of coral gables. Also found out the city derives its name from the founder George Merricks gabled house. Also found out Miami was founded by 2 women , Mary Brickell and Julia Tuttle. Stella was very knowledgeable of history of area and personal insight of the area. Our tour was educational and entertaining. We even went by the hotel referenced in a book called hotel Scarface which has a rocky and notorious history but now quite respectable.

I am writing this for a friend of mine who just had a private tour of Miami with Stella Ross. My friend was beyond pleased with Stella’s full service and all-encompassing tour. Stella provided him and three others in his group with not only door to door service, but a knowledgeable, creative and guided tour of Miami. Now saying door-to-door may not sound like anything special, but Stella went above and beyond by picking up the entire group in Fort Lauderdale and transporting everyone to Miami. On the way, much history of the area was incorporated along with interesting facts to spice up the ride. A special audio system in her vehicle allowed for all four tour passengers to be able to hear Stella as she provided this informational tour while safely driving. My friend had true world travelers with him on this tour with Stella. Yet while world travelers, his guests had never toured Miami before, and were thoroughly impressed. She not only created a personalized itinerary but also provided it in advance to get all excited about this experience. Stella thought of everything. And with Miami being very, very sunny on the day of the tour, Stella brought enough umbrellas for those to use as protection from the sun and heat, during the walking portion of the tour in Miami. Stella booked everything in advance and had reservations for all of the stops along the way, making everything enjoyable and worry-free. He continued that this was “Not just your average guided tour,” but was above and beyond! When asked, “How good was this tour on a five-star rating scale?” “If I could give it more than five stars, I would!” was his reply! Our experience with Stella Ross was spectacular!

Thank you, Stella, for a really amazing day in Miami! My husband and I recently had a few hours in Florida, between arriving on a cruise in the morning and flying out in the evening. Stella picked us up from the cruise port and dropped us at the airport later, which meant we didn't have to worry about organising our own transfers or storing our luggage during the day. During our private tour, Stella gave us a real insight into contemporary Miami, including a few off-the-beaten-path destinations as well as the more well-known sights. She showed us before and after photos of the places we visited, which really helped bring context to what we were seeing. On our recent trip to Miami we booked a tour with Stella Tours, a local tour company. Our fabulous tour of Miami was a "Stellar" event with history, beautiful homes, and wonderful comradery with our guide, Stella Ross. Her vehicle was very comfortable with a sun roof for a great view of the high rise buildings and condos. Stella is a member of the Historical Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She grew up in Miami and is very knowledgeable in it's history. This tour was very enjoyable and Stella was a very safe driver. Stella was happy to adjust her time due to the traffic conditions and rainy weather. She was more concerned with us seeing everything than looking at her clock. Guided tour of Miami: I cannot speak enough on how great Stella and her tour was. She was flexible enough to pick us earlier than the arranged time. Her car was big enough for our luggage which was key. Her car was also clean as well, with no smoking smells or anything like that. She was delightful. She took us to other places that I have not been at, and that were not on the list of things that I had requested. Going through the Vyscane museum was amazing, and the gardens were such a nice break. She was able to provide the history of Miami, as she has been living in Miami Beach since she was two years old. So she's truly a local. She also took us into University of Miami, which the girls loved, especially since it was moving day. It was a hit, especially with my daughter as she's moving in to her dorm next Wednesday. Going to see the Biltmore hotel with their ghost stories was very interesting.She knew that I am a foodie, so we picked a restaurant in Little Havana. That was a classic jazz place (with live music) with really good food, Ball and Chain. Wynwood walls were amazing. I wish we had spent more time there, but it was quite hot so we drove around and so pretty much everything before she dropped us off at the airport. I definitely would recommend her for anyone who is in Miami and wants a tour. She was great and delightful.

She is a delightful guide who took the time to explain the history of the area. She also took us to places that my teens liked, thus engaging them as well in the tour. She was punctual. Stella did a wonderful job. Even though we had been to Miami before she impressed us with her knowledge of all the districts not only with the history but with current events in Miami. It rained the entire time but it didn’t matter. We learned so much about all of Miami. She was adaptable with the time to accommodate traffic, etc. she brought books and pictures to complement the tour. She was also willing to answer all our questions. We felt very safe and comfortable the whole time with her driving and her ability to talk about Miami at the same time. Ok. Book this!!! You will love Stella and all the sites and all the adventures that you will have with her. I agree to do this early in your stay in Miami as she will show you some great areas that you may want to know about to be able to go and visit again. She knows some cool “off the beaten path”places to grab a snack which was really awesome! She is professional, personable, punctual, and overall….PERFECT!!! This is definitely a 5-star day that anyone would enjoy!! Stella was professional and knowledgeable and friendly and flexible throughout the entire day. Add to that that she is from the area originally and knows so much about it from a personal point of view. Her suggestion to go to Little Havana for lunch was perfect. THE ABSOLUTE BEST TOUR!!! We booked 2 tours with Stella, and she did a fabulous job. First, she took us all over Miami and showed us the highlights, which we had requested. Stella is a wealth of knowledge about Miami’s history, ecosystems, people, places, restaurants, etc. We had fabulous Cuban coffee and pastries on Calle Oche, Peruvian ceviche in Coconut grove, saw the major sites, and ended the day with a boat tour of Indian Creek and other areas. This is a must for history buffs and foodies. Stella makes learning the history of Miami fun while creating a very hospitable atmosphere. We got to try new foods, experience the different cultures within only a few miles from each other, and see all the different architecture while learning how it came together. A very enjoyable way to spend our afternoon! We also got a lot of great pictures. Her attention to detail goes beyond the history tour. She also cares very much for her guests. I'm pregnant, and part of the tour was a ceviche tasting. Without hesitation, she recommended a delicious taco tasting in substitution...I honestly hadn't even thought about this so I'm glad she was thinking ahead! This tour is a blast. My pregnant wife and I did this tour on our second day in Miami and Stella was amazing. She was so informative and catered to our interests so not only did we get and amazing tour, but we also received a lot of information that helped us fill any down time for the rest of our week. The great thing about the tour is that Stella recognizes it is an interactive experience and really focuses on keeping you stimulated and accommodated. Our group of Toastmasters was looking for a Saturday social event, so why not a private tour in the Miami area? So we contacted @toursbystella. We told her we would like a history tour of no more than 2 hours. Erin suggested a walking tour of Coconut Grove. Perfect! We met on a wonderful 80-degree Saturday afternoon in February. Erin knew all the history. We started by visiting the grave of Eva Monroe which was right along the sidewalk in front of the Peacock Garden Cafe. I bet thousands of people a day walk right by that location and don't even realize that a grave exists there. Eva Monroe was the first wife of Commodore Ralph Munroe, the man who built the Barnacle house that thousands of people tour a year. From there it was learning about the Coconut Grove Branch Library and the Woman's Club. Then a short walk over to Barnacle Park. And finally to the section of town where colored people, back in the day, were segregated too. Saw an interesting simple church there. Overall a great history lesson by a great tour guide.

Coming from Disney, I met a great deal of princesses. Bell, Snow White, Cindarella, Jasmine, Mulan, Elsa, Anna, Moanna and now Miami has a princess named Stella. Yep, right in the heart of the number 27 in best cities---Miami. Coming from Italy, my cousins wanted to see the town. This tour was one of the best tours I have ever taken! It was comprehensive, informative, and customized to incorporate our wishes.
